PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These Air Handlers are ideal for Bonus Rooms and places that you would like heated but don't want a big expense or a complicated install. We made this Mini Air Handler to sit in a corner, closet, or just about anywhere you like that is a living space. These units are quite like their Big Brothers and are very Efficient! It is super easy to install these Mini Air Handlers. Simply provide a supply and return hot water source, 110 volt supply, mount an in-line thermostat, and optional speed controller and you've got heat!
Dragon Breath Air Handlers can mount just about anywhere. They are used to heat basements, bonus rooms, garages, workshops, greenhouses, warehouses... just about anything you can think of. These units come with a blower, water to air heat exchanger, and an optional louvered grill. The Blowers are speed controllable and are commercial grade units. The thermostat (TH002) and speed controller (SC36) can be used with this unit. This unit does not come with Louvers. Louvers are sold separately. (Sku:DBLouverAH)
A very basic formula to find out which air handler suits your needs is 4,000 btu's per 100 sq. ft. will do the job. Keep in mind Vermont is colder than North Carolina and your building's insulation is excellent to poor. Add more or less BTUs based on geography and buildings insulation. If there's something unique about the house such as "0" insulation, some adjustments may be in order. With "0" insulation and greenhouses I use the formula 6,000 BTU's per 100 sq ft. Oversizing is usually not a problem.
