Our Dragon Breath Unit Heaters can be mounted just about anywhere. Their small and compact designs make them perfect for heating basements, garages, workshops, greenhouses, warehouses, drying corn, heat dumps, bed bugs, mobile units and many more setups. TheseDragon Breathing fire water-based units come with a “Venturi-designed” high-quality fan, water to air exchanger and adjustable louvered grills. The commercial grade fans are speed controllable with our Variable Speed Controller’s (SC36) that regulates the fan speed at the turn of a knob. Stamped fan blades quietly exhaust high air volumes. You can trust that all parts used are of the highest quality. Plus, the units come assembled!

These units are 110 volts, sending boiler water in and out of them because they’re water based. The fan is mounted in the back, which blows heat to the area of your choosing. The motor of the unit heater is a totally enclosed air over motor enclosure, producing 1200 CFM. Also, it has a sleeve bearing system and a 1550 RPM motor. Our Dragon Breath Unit Heaters come in four different sizes for 70,000 BTU (16 x 16), 100,000 BTU (20 x 20), 150,000 BTU (22 x 22), and 200,000 BTU (24 x 24) applications. They range from $480 to $870 depending on BTU and application.

In order to find out which Dragon Breath unit heater suits your needs, use the basic formula of 4,000 BTU's per 100 sq. ft. Consider more or less BTUs based on your geography and buildings insulation. Unique situations such as a home having "0" insulation or a green house, use the 6,000 BTU's per 100 sq. ft. formula. Oversizing with a unit heater usually is not a problem. Placing or mounting on a Heat Exchanger to a fan or blower doesn't make a Unit heater! Using the BTU ratings of Heat Exchanger as the output of Heat is incorrect. Air Volume (CFM), water flow (GPM) and Air Resistance through the Heat Exchanger are all very important to the official BTU output. We test and guarantee our products are of the highest quality. Work Bay Setup:

Warehouse Setup:

The Dragon Breath Unit Heater kept this warehouse warm while remaining clean with the help of the filer. Every setting will require different specifications. Man Cave Setup:

These units can go practically anywhere keeping your environment consistently warm. A leisure environment does not need much with this setup. As long as you are warm, the unit is doing its job.

Workshop Setup:

If you’re looking to do this set up yourself all you need is a 110-volt power source, a hydronic supply/return, and a thermostat 110 volt. In this case study, there is a variable speed controller which is a feature we highly recommend to regulate your unit’s fan speed. Key things to remember: the boiler return always goes on top, in order to purge the air out. This prevents the bubbling sound from occurring. The bottom port is where the boiler supply goes. This installation is not difficult and takes a couple of hours to complete.
